I knew when I bought my house 2 years ago that it needed to be re-roofed, but I kept putting it off. Then a big rain storm came last month, and of course it turned into a full blown catastrophe - a huge leak in the master bedroom, which soaked some of the carpeting as it required several buckets to manage all the leaks. It was a total disaster as the ceiling drywall was saturated and peeling off.
How lucky I was that Spencer Fosnaugh of SCF Construction not only came right out to bid the job but he was kind enough to bump me ahead of waiting customers so that my new roof would be completed before the next storm hit. His price was very fair and the very next day he had a crew at my house to demo the old existing and install the new roof. They handled all the interior work right away as well, which involved demoing the damaged bedroom ceiling drywall and removing saturated old insulation. An industrial-size de-humidifier ensured that the ceiling, walls, and floor were thoroughly dried out. They even pulled up the carpet, removed the wet padding and installed new padding. There was also terrible leaking into the garage, which was particularly upsetting because last year  I had just put all new finishes in the garage including drywall, custom cabinets, and epoxy floors. After Spencer repaired the roof over the garage, the his crew thoroughly cleaned and painted it.
